A meditation on an impasse, a reflection of immutable will, both consciously refusing to concede and physically unable to accept anything but a perpetuation of what already is. No movement forward, no retreat backward. Nothing but the double-edged sword of acceptance and defeat.

Recorded using a feedback configuration within an ARP 2600 analog synthesizer, augmented by two sinewave oscillators in the same machine, in conjunction with a passive resistor ladder (Equation Group), a Doepfer A-121-3 multimode filter and a digital delay via Expert Sleepers Disting Mk4. Post-processing includes an inverted fugue-delay system, subtle pitch modulation and Arturia's recreation of the EMT plate reverb.
